From what I've heard, BOTH the ballast weight and the tray are a must!

Once the carbon fiber gets cracked or scraped it will eventually fall apart!

better is chasis tape from blackbeard rc the best you can get

Have stock manual settings, but getting serious pushing. How to fix?

i1justin 12-30-2010 09:44 PM

check servo saver tightness, black sway bar instead of silver, 30 wt up front instead of 35, tighter front diff over looser rear diff, inside on arm on front and rear...

Some of the quick starters i have used in the past.

My B4.1 is having serious issues pushing but my B44.1 steers soooo much.

What battery are you using? Using the ballast weight?

kyle3333 12-31-2010 05:24 AM

I run the ballast weight and it's awesome. The chassis protector works great. But in addition I sanded and glued the edges for extra insurance.

If you car is pushing, try different tires. I actually had the opposite problem. I was running pink BK Bars all over and had way too much steering. So I switched to pink Taper pins and that give the car a comfortable amount of under-steer. But, a little too much, so I swapped out the black sway bar for the silver.

Hope this helps.

i run that and then about an ounce and a half. really helps to plant the rear end and stabilize the monster.

The optional B44.1 ballast weight is 3 oz, which is close to the correct weight for a battery in the 4200mah weight range, running a larger battery in the 5100mah range only needs about 1.5oz of weight.

Anyone here have any gearing and speedo setting recommendations for a B44 with a kinetic/ballistic 13.5 combo for a 90 foot straight? Thanks!

vanderham21 01-03-2011 06:52 AM

81/18 or 19 i run a 8.5 on about a 130 ft straight so you should be good with a 18 or 19
