I was pretty happy with it overall, I just need a better selection of front tires and and play with shock oils then it should be money! I'm very happy this class is making a comeback in our area, this thing is a blast to drive.
Has anyone tried suburb front tires on indoor clay with good results? I ran scrubs and Panther bobcat fronts but I still wanted a little more steering.

what anit squat you running?
i run barcodes in the front and suburbs in the rear...my car rotates great, almost to good

I set it up with 1 washer (2 degrees). I might add another washer (3 degrees) and give it a shot. The track was pretty tricky yesterday, we started off with slicks and ended up with suburbs rear and bobcat fronts. I'll see what next weekend brings, I don't want to change to many things all at once.

depends on the condition however, considering the car alone is $369 doesn't sound to bad

also ordered my losi blue springs for the front, and the carbon c tower plates, gonna try and get my buggy dialed in asap

C towers are gonna be hard to use on the 44. You'll have to add 2mm to the inside ball stud to keep it correct.

finally got b44.1 up and running at the track today and like few laps in the rear cva came out and chipped my rear outdrive...is there anything i can do so this wont happen again ?

I run 1 extra spacer in the rear shock because I had the same problem. It only affects the handling when you are very hard on the brakes on corner entry, just a touch less steering, rear end more stable.

what do you mean by run 1 extra spacer in the rear shock ?

Jack Smash 04-10-2012 01:25 AM

Page 18 of the manual. If you used the manual setup you should have 1 spacer in there. Some of the setups on AE's site show 0. I ran 0 at first but ran into the same problem you did so I went to 1 limiter.

ohh so thats what those little spacers are that are left over.. so you just put one in between the o rings and the one that they tell you to put in ?

Jack Smash 04-10-2012 01:46 AM
