If you going larger than that, you can use M3 washers to elevate the diff plate to allow for the gear clearance.
Thanks. I'll just order a 50t.

Default Motor plates without bearings

Hello all,

We have receive some feedback as to some folks that don't like or want the support bearing in our mounts. If you order the inner bb versions of the RC8Be or Ve8, you can remove the bearing easily. It is not required for the operation of the mounts. It is a free bonus for those that want a BB.

Just heat up the motor plate with a heat gun or hot hair dryer and push out the ball bearing.

Default Ve8 Mount install tips

All orders for the Ve8 mounts are shipped. You should be getting shipping confirmations.

The top diff plates got delayed coming back to us from the anodizers holding up the orders.

Some folks have already received their Ve8 mount kits and have questions regarding the prepping of the chassis. Our mounts do not have a slot milled at the bottom so that they can maintain their maximum strength. You need to cut or grind down the small rib in the mount area so that it can sit level with the chassis. This is very important as it will affect how well the mount sits on the chassis.

You can use a dremel tool with a plastic cutter. Take a little off at a time. If you go to hard the tool will grab hard. If you find a better way to do it, please share it with us.

This is probably the only difficult part of the install.

Please do not use the motor cradle #67554. We forgot to mention it in the instructions.

Default BalancePro wheel balancer for 1/8 buggy/truggy

The new BalancePro from GRID RC is designed for the 1/8 racing purist, that want the absolute best wheel balancer money can buy. The GRID BalancePro includes all the desired features in order that a racer can utilize the best possible wheel balance.

The GRID BalancePro uses a precision ground 4mm balancing-rod that rides on lubricate-free micro ball bearings, that is virtually near-zero friction. The micro ball bearings are ultra sensitive to even the slightest wheel imbalance.

Racers can also utilize the three adjustable feet with the aid of a bubble level for further increased accuracy.

That looks pretty sweet. Since you guys are going off on some new ground here, I have another product suggestion. How about a ride height gauge with numbers that you can actually read. I have an associated that is clear lexan and you can barely see the etched numbers on it and I have a losi that is black and you can barely see it's gauge numbering either. I bet it would show up nice in aluminum.

These ones you are using does require good lighting to see it. But there are 20+ others out there that are alum and are laser engraved that is very visible markings. What's not working on these?

The SCTe comes with a very nice mount. Why do you want to replace it?

Are you guys racing these Vorzas? We are getting some feedback that most that are using it for bashing and will never upgrade the mounts because of that reason.
