Madness was always the big race. I am currently running pink 06s non dremeled, some people think they push, i despise push, if i felt they pushed, i wouldnt use them. Some people are now running dremeled 04s. Ive tried taper pins up front and i thought they pushed alot, so im going tp stick with 06s.

I liked it like that, and it wasnt really that pushy since i had my dual rate at 150. rob turned it down to 100/0 and i couldnt even drive it, so i turn it up 10 every time i practice to get used to the twitchyness, heres my bk2 setup
front
green
56
32.5
.060
middle on tower
middle on arm
2-b 1 washer
long arm
spindle down
pink 06s

rear
silver
56
32.5
.120
inside middle tower
inside arm
1-b
short arm
middle sway bar ( .050? )
taper pins

I think im really the only one who likes my setup. you can always go to a softer spring front and rear and shorten the rear camber link.

Nick, is your set-up just twitchy, or does the rear end tend to break loose? The set-up that Im using only works sometimes, usually when the track has dried out, but most of the time I can't get any side bite.

I like alot of turning but still a good mix of traction, since my rear is so stiff it makes the rear feel lazy which translates into no traction breaks, if were you, I'd find a new setup as the track will never really be dried out, especially this weekend. The majority of people like the track wet ( including me ) and as they say majority rules. If your setup is so picky as to track conditions, something has got to be wrong. Do you switch rear tires are the track gets wetter/drier? If you don't your car will never really feel like it has when it has the right tires. Also, do you sand your Tapers? This can also be bad since they are'nt going to develop traction until they wear.

I run tapers that are a little more than half worn down. Any time I try new, or close to new tires, its 10 times worse, and Ive tried a set of really worn down tapers too and they only worsened the problem too. My car felt great in the main last friday (was that considered wet or dry?) but I went there later in the day on saturday and it was really loose. I think they generally wet down the track more on saturdays to make it better for racing on sunday though. Hopefully it works this weekend, mabey I'll try stiffer rear springs.

Fridays main was wet. I know Anthony sweeps and wets the track before nearly every main since hes a highly wet guy. The track is not swept on saturdays so there is alot of dust. When I say "change tires" i dont mean try news, not like them and go back to worn outs. I mean when the track is wet use slightly more worn tires than when the track is semi-wet, and then fron semi-wet to mosit and moist to dry. I usually have atleast 5-6 sets of differently worn tapers with me.

Nope, I've never ran a race outside of LIR, I will be up by you in July for the Mod Nats at RC Madness though.
