I learned the hard way after trying to build a mini kit with regular philips head drivers. After I ruined several of the screws, I found out about JIS. They lock in nice and tight.

My latest test run revealed I have one more problem to deal with (thank God - I was so worried things would really come to an end and I would finally have a car to play with...)
Having installed a T Bone bumper on the car I have removed the small tamiya bumper.
Problem is the old bumper, being close to the body works as a stopper for the two shafts that hold the A arms in place - attached to the chassis. The T Bone bumper is further away and will not provide that support. As a result the rods will slide outwards to the front.
Any suggestions please?

I would rather prefer the T Bone in terms of protection offered.
How may I stabilize the rods while using the T Bone one?

Well, it can't be done that way...
The middle section of the bumper is too thin in the middle and the shaft heads can be removed with it in place.
I'm thinking that some sort of stopper could be fitted where the middle screw of the original bumper used to be. Maybe an aluminium or plastic thing. I' m not sure what that could be...

Assuming you have standard front pins, you'll note that they are capable of having cir clips placed at either end. The simple thing to do would be to file away or dremel the suspension arm just enough to place a cir clip at the other end of the pins. refer to step 19 in the instruction manual. Fast and cheap!
Fast and cheap indeed!!!
Thanks
