Make sure you are running the correct losi white springs. They make them for both the 22 and 22T. Had a local racer with a similar issue due buying a 22T yellow for the rear by mistake.

If you're using the traxxas cup, make sure you SQUEEZE the cup onto the shock end. The losi one may fit better but the losi one is a bit taller so it almost balances out.

I've never saw acetone damage wheels before. Tires and foams yes. I've used acetone on all 3 of the wheels you have listed and many others and never had a problem.

Does anyone have gearing reccomendations for an 8.5 with a 78 tooth spur? I ran 78/22 with my 22 which puts me at a 8.6 fdr so should I shoot for the sane thing with the b4.1? That would put me at 78/23

B4's are still winning big races. Stock nationals were b4's first and second place. Oh and t4's.

Thanks, thats what it was. They gave me 22T white springs, the yellow's I picked up are shorter. Will have to make a return trip and get the right ones. Thanks guys.

Hey guys, just had my first race with the car( 1st ). It was very good and stable.
I managed to brake one of the wing mounts, but because I know from the time I used to race T4 that those brake easily I had some spares.

Has anyone modded the gearbox so that wing mount on the slipper side could be replaced without unscrewing the motor plate or has anyone customized sc10 rear body mounts to work as a wing mount(they look a lot stronger than the original part and the plastic seems better too)?

Shorty lipos are great. However full size packs are good as well. I believe a lot of it will come down to driver preference.

The sway bar, or anti-sway bar, does exactly what the name implies. It prevents the roll tendency the car will have on carpet, concrete or other higher bite surfaces.

What do you guys use to check toe? So far, I've done pretty well to just eyeball it.

I have always just eyed toe-in as well, and done fine. Recently I built a 22T and measured off all the specs from TLR and the truck does not preform as well as any of my eye-in builds.

I just got a tekin rs pro with my stock rtr3300kv motor and was wondering what would be a good starting point for the esc settings and gearing. I will be running mod class on a small to med indoor traction with med traction. Any responses will be greatly appreciated! Also can I even run boost or timing with sensor less motor

Are you running boosted or blinky mode?

I am geared at a 72/31 in blinky mode on our local track. 75'x65' indoor. A couple weeks ago at the April Fool's Classic where boost was allowed I ran preset boost #3 at a 72/32. Watch your temp and keep gearing up until you hit about 140-150* then gear down for feel if want to.
