I've seen one servo die after installing the Avid rack and it was after a very high speed crash toward the end of the straight. Other parts were broken. Shock tower, front arm, and shock cap.
Damm novice shortcourse drivers!!!
I run the Avid rack in my buggy and the only issue I've encountered has been the caster block flexing enough to allow the kingpin to pop out. It's only happened once after smacking the wall.
In my opinion, next to the right tires, the Avid steering rack is the best tool for dialing in your car.

That's because in the 22 you need that to steer!!jk but with alittle drag brake my cars on rails,my brakes are set up like abs brakes, slow it down just enough roll the throttle back on through the corner and set up for the next,on my mt4 radio the only way it shows full throttle on the screen is when my EPA is maxed out to 150,my throttle profile on the hotwire is pretty high in order to give me that smoothness.

had a buddy here at the track with the same servo with the stock bell crank and blew the servo. From what he told me he contacted one of the distributors here locally and they said the lowpro servo hasnt been holding up in offroad cars. He put a 1257 in and has had no problems, I'v also run a 1257 for the last 8 months or so with a glued servo saver and had no problems.
Where did you hear the Avid rack causes problems? I have read several threads about people having problems with Savox servos. I would start there first. I bought a 1257 and altough it did the job, it was very noisy, and caused problems with my other electronics. I installed a Futaba 351bls with the Avid rack since day one, and have not had any issues what so ever.

since we are talking about inserts...
aka more forward bite less side, proline more side less forward..
my older proline foams used a while now get really soft so I just fill the rim with some tape...
Here at my track it is kind of preference, honestly I can't tell unless I have 2 of the same tire mounted on each, and i don't....I just stuff my jc stuff with proline, proline tires with proline, losi with aka, proline doesn't fill em...sweep with aka hot bodies with aka
does anybody actually know what each do different? UGH so many stupid tires...

John, I'm pretty sure their new packs are ROAR approved (65c now). On another note, I ordered a Worlds car today so I'll be playing with a few different things in the coming weeks. You gonna make it to SDRC tonight?
