I'm running a super soft double dee/rips tomorrow on a hardpacked, smooth but slightly loamy track.

Let me know how those tires work. they look sweet.

i really like this body but it was made for the t4.1 chassis put on a b4 do you think it would still fit my b4 with the +8 chassis. Im not the best painter so i dont want to create my own body and this is the only pre painted body i like im kind of picky

That body is not pre painted and in the description it says it will work on the +8 chassis, but you're better off buying a standard FTW night fox for the +8. Personally if you want a prepainted body but don't want to spend much, look for a used body or get a RTR body and run it on your +8. This seems like an opportunity to paint a body yourself, even it's a simple scheme with rattle cans

Pretty Cool, my LHS had Ryan Cav sign the box on this one while he was in town running our invitational, gonna give the kid the box.

so im debating to do hex conversion,i know when i had mine on my s10 from proline, when you tightened up the wheels it would bind something on the wheels and axles and you had to just do it right otherwise the wheel wouldn't spin or if you had it just a little to loose the damn wheel would fall off.I was pretty bummed on how that kit was!How good is it on the buggies?ill be running the jconcepts hexs.anyone have any issues with the hex kit up front?

dam was hoping it was prepainted like that and also it says u would have to do some cutting extra cutting for it to work so i was skeptical if it would look good if cut more but sence it isnt pre painted nvrmind

Hmm, never had that issue on my sc10 with proline hexes. I am running the Jconcepts hexes on my buggy with great results.

I had the clip that spaces the bearings give way. It bound slightly, and after a couple race days, pretty much destroyed the bearings. The front hex is off my car now, but I think its spoken for. I've heard the solid axle pins help this issue though.

I'm battling this exact issue on my SC10 with JConcepts hexes. It worked great when I first installed it. Now after a month the rears binds so much. I loosened the nuts but after 1 night at the track it loosened up and rounded my wheels. So gonna stick to pins for the buggy.

Have you removed the hexes and double checked the drive pins? What may have happened is the pins have become bent, causing the hexes to drag on the bearings. Just a thought.

Default Ceramic Bearings

Is anyone running ceramic bearings? If so what brand and did you notice a change in the cars acceleration or top speed?

Thanks

I'm having the same binding issue with the plastic hexes. I'll sand down the small flange on the inside of the hex and see if that helps. It's quite annoying. I lost a front wheel on my second run.
