You can make the rtr just as good as the Worlds car. The thing is that it just costs so much to do it you end up being in a postion were you could have bought two worlds cars for the price of your one converted rtr car.

I think he's running carpet oval, given the backwards tire tread and low ride height (collars all the way up).

$6 question: Which way is he running on the oval? Left turns or right turns??

I have always wondered why AE doesn't list lengths on their setup sheets... Can someone verify that these numbers are accurate for the worlds setup... Would be great to see this on a setup sheet so someone could know they are copying a setup correctly.

Fully extended Front shocks center of screw to center of screw are 77mm
Rear shocks are" " 91mm

When they are listing their setups, unless it is specified in their notes, their shock eyelets are screwed all the way up on the shock shafts. The length of their shocks is only determined by how many limiters they are running at that track.

I didn't even realize about the tread pattern, I rushed the body & wheels part of the build, doh!

they are glued, and ride height is 25mm in the rear with the collars where they are.

got any tips for holding the shock shaft so i can put the shaft ends on all the way without scratching the shaft, rubber insert for pliers maybe????

If you put a tissue. Or 2 on the shaft then clamp. The pliers it won't scratch it
