I have 3 ball stud shims under the tower camber ball stud. 1 shim under the ball stud on the block, 2 bump steer shims installed.
Does a shim on the block do anything?

ThunderbirdJunkie loves the D3 10.5 in his SCT so much he picked up an 8.5 for the buggy. Haven't run it, but he expects great things from it.

Your Tekin motor will pull 13.5 D3 motors all day long you do not have it geared correctly! Add two teeth to the pinion at a time until your motor is between 150 and 170 after 7 minutes of run time. It will be amazing to you how much faster it is geared correctly!

Just looking for something to play round with at the track on the days I cant be bothered running my nitro gear.

Are they reasonbly durable and hassle free? Want something pretty tough that requires as little attention as possible, as it is just for a bit of fun, nitro takes up most of my time with maintanance etc.

eg:

There great!! Come with gear diffs so maintenance is minimal! Can't go wrong with them based on what you are looking for! You will learn electric takes far far less attention than a nitro 1/8 and will eventually most likely end up running more electric and save the nitro for big races!

Depends, will ThunderbirdJunkie be able to run AKA, ProLine, and Panther tires there, along with his ProLine bodies?

Seriously, though, doubtful. If ThunderbirdJunkie goes to a big race that isn't CRCRC this year, he'll go to Motorama.

Nothing in particular. Make sure you don't over tighten the screws in the steering rack, otherwise you'll rip your hair out wondering why the thing binds. Same ball diff stuff as everything else.
