Front end?

Mine is just finished. big improvement over the old one.

Since it's much heavier then the old one does anyone still use ballast?

my old T4FT had a 100 grams in it.

I have a little play as well. I believe it's the hubs on mine. The wheel and bearings are tight on the axle. I feel like the whole steering assembly has a little slop in it right?

Take off front shocks and unscrew shock ends 1-2 FULL turns to allow more weight transfer to the rear end.

how can that be? CVD less efficient and binding the suspension under load?

thanks
Paul

PS iirc Easton won the worlds with dogbones... same reasoning?

I'm not sure the physics behind it but I definitely noticed a difference in the way the car turned and handles with CVA's vs the CVD's that I had before. It was a little more than subtle. I did have one of the retainer clips move over and a pin come out in a practice run though. I replaced the pin and added more glue. It stayed together for 3 quals and a hard driven main.

Default B4.1 FT carbon parts

Hey Guys.

I just ordered a b4.1 factory team, it'll be my first off road buggy after a while of racing on road tourers.
The only thing I'm a little disappointed with is the absence of the carbon chassis..
I was wondering if the b4 full carbon part set, part no 9655 is the same and a straight swap for the B4.1 factory team plastic chassis??
Also am I being a bit fussy and is the plastic just as good or better then the carbon??

Generally, people stay away from the carbon chassis now. It's goog for a high bite track. The carbon parts will still work except tje rear shock tower unless you modify it. I have seen Ryan Cavalieri use the carbon a-arms as a tuning aid during high traction tracks. This was to take away some of the traction.
