I took a peek over at the rb5 thread and WHAT THE HELL! they are also extended the chassis i think 10 mm! copy cats....
they wish they could make a 4.1 super car.
IK, i new i couldve done a better job with better material, the cut is perfect, braces not. I will try some carbon fiber if i cant find, ill try thin high grade aluminum my dad has and I will screw that sucker in. Also will use epoxy. Thanks for the suggestions!
they wish they could make a 4.1 super car.Your chassis broke because you didn't brace it correctly. don't worry about bracing the bottom... just the sides. If you look at the vertical pieces of the chassis in your picture, you can see the bracing only covers like 1cm on both sides of the cut line. Make a long skinny piece that goes lengthwise along the vertical piece of chassis, so you have like an inch on both sides of the cut line. The bracing you did there wont cut it.

I still haven't got the time or the nerve to make the B4.1LE chassis. Is there any word yet, if JConcepts or another company will be manufacturing these? if so, any time frame? Thanks.
Definately considering running LRP SXX V2 and Orion Motors. Where is a good place to purchase these with reasonable prices?

im trying again with expoxy, its clamped together now. I am going to screw the outer braces in and expoxy those. The inner i will try to find screws tthat are short enough. I am using part of an old thick chassis.

At this time you can only purchase the standard T4 chassis. It is a running change and to the part number and they have to get rid of the backstock before offering the t4.1 chassis. I was told that the team is running the original chassis as well because that is what they had in stock.
