Idk about pinks, I run on a pretty big indoor track but not to huge, jumps are not to big but even layouts with big jumps these work better. More pack it makes my car feel forgiving and lands better.
They should be stronger than the stock hex axles and seem to mount a little better, you dont have to worry about the little c clip with the JC axles.
BTW - Get out of the ice age. The hexes are like 12 months old
About the Triad spur gear noise.... all plastic parts are molded with zero moisture because the temps would make any water turn to steam in the press. Thus, after molding they need to absorb moisture back in the air. Normally a spur gear that you buy on the shop wall was made 6-12 months ago, but the Triad was only released in August. Most people that live in an environment with some moisture in the air will be fine BUT there are cases like guys from Colorado that have cold weather and dry air.
If you do have problems, you can soak your spur in a ziplock full of water for 24-48 hours to speed up the process and you'll be amazed at the difference. We had to do this for all of the original batch of gears which were made only weeks before the launch.

I couldn't get it to turn with a full size lipo. Shorty makes it great though. To go along with the shorty you need lots of foam battery blocks. I used combinations of small, medium, & large until I found where I wanted it. The I cut down an sc10 block to fit.
Oh yeah. The worlds body will fit, but not well. In addition to the FTW nightfox, you can use the proline j82 1/8 2wd body for a "normal" looking body.
