Hmmm... old durango... I didn't realize they had been around that long. I'll check on that, thanks for the tip.

That did the trick & really locked the car in. I ended up 2nd & on the same lap as a guy who put me down 4 laps last time I raced him. We have a new layout at the local track, so it'll be interesting to see what 2.5* does on a new layout.

I have tried putting the ESC in the battery tray & didn't like it front or rear. Where I have the lipo balances the car perfectly, so messing with it just up sets the balance.

In the mind of "it can always be better", I happen to have an extra T4 chassis, so I'm thinking about cutting the sides out of the battery tray, mounting some revo pushrods from the tower mount to the battery strap mount for reinforcement & mounting the shorty side ways with the esc in the tray. It will probably be a few weeks till I get to try it, but I'll post some pics & let you know how I like it.

Please note, When doing this you will probably end up with a non-ROAR aproved buggy by the time I'm done, if that matters to anyone.
I really don't think people are going to copy your idea(s) man. The car was designed and laid out the way it is for a reason...it works just fine that way...loose or hooked up track.

Hey guys does the b4.1 worlds kit come with big bore shocks? I was on the associated website and found big bore shocks for 1/10. I looked on what the car comes with it said v2 threaded shocks is this the big bore or do I buy those separate?

It does not come with BB shocks. Gotta buy them separate from the car kit.

I hate to think how many things wouldn't have been invented in RC if everyone took that stance

think anyone ever told BK "why are you turning your tires inside out.. they were designed and laid out the other way for a reason"

Ran the 13.5 motor last night, no timing. Started w/ 28/75 gearing, that wasn't enough.

I ended the night w/ 32/75. Motor was coming off at 120 degrees or so. Still pretty darn slow and would only clear the triple for about 2-3 minutes in.

Not sure where to go from here. Might have a look at those d3.5 motors and see if the kv is higher w/ those....

I ran close to if not more laps w/ the 13.5 than I do w/ the 8.5. It just ain't as much fun.......

Try a 69 spur. You still got temps to gain!

You are close, but 30/69 with plenty of motor timing, or 31/69 with a little motor timing is what almost everyone runs in 13.5 B4.1 which is also the most common turn and rc in AZ.

d3.5 is pretty sweet! i went from a d3 at 69/33 max timing on endbell to a d3.5 same gearing with no timing and ... it was faster with more torque and cooler.
then i turned the timing up to 5* and it ripped even more with out sacrificing anything. temps come off at 125* after 6 mins.
that is where I will stay for now. very pleased with this motor.
try one
