Hideeho
I have gotten access to a t4.1 chassis (my son got one & I picked up a chassis w/ some other spare parts for it ;) ). I have read that the +15 setup is roar legal, so for gits & shiggles I thought I would give it a try.

I have a worlds that will be where everything comes from, the AE spring kit (no big bores), full size & shorty lipos, chassis weights, & a good selection of oils. What is a good base line for springs, oils, weight placement, & battery placement? Basically I'm wondering if I need to deviate greatly from green/brown, 30/27.5, battery forward w/ a shorty, 1/2oz transmission, 1/4oz each rear & 1/4oz receiver?

Thanks guys. How do I lock the servo saver? I was thinking of buying an avid rack but I can lock it for free that is even better.

Superglue the plastics and lock title the nut on the screw.

This may of been discussed to death already - but what are the actual differences between the original FT b4.1 Kit and the FT b4.1 Worlds Kit??

Is it just the +8mm longer chassis, body and battery clamp and included ballast??

You also get 0* rear Hubs instead of the .5*

Correction, clapped out machined hubs that the bearings swim in lol. Pretty disappointing machine work on those, or maybe the bearings are the issue.

Which hobbywing esc would fit in a b4.1? will a 60A with the fan have clearance?

I really cant see where to put the front body clip post. The instructions point where it goes but I am just not seeing it. Can somebody snap me a pick of yours?

Or should I just not worry about it and use velcro?

Velcro is a lot better and easier

If it was a snake it would have bit you lol. It's on the top deck angled towards the rear slightly and off center but Velcro is what most use.

i think the carbon top plate doesnt have that hole for the cap head screw with body clip hole. doesn't matter cuz you should be using velcro anyway....

chevmaro 05-23-2012 11:14 AM

Well I am not seeing it lol. But if Velcro fits ok I will just use that. I just didnt know if the body was snug enough for velcro. Thanks.
