Although this isn't a Rustler, this shows that "Extenders" is NOT just a home mod any more!! :-)

I did a XXXTSC from the BL XXXT. Almost didn't give it back after the "Extension" it jumped and turned better than my SC10!!!! I even put a SC10 body on it so no one would know it was a Losi.

Very SWEEEEET!!!!!!!!!!!!
The piece under the ESC, what I did to add some strength, was bend the front down and bolt through it to the rear wall and make it long enough to fit under the shock tower , so that end had the 2 shock screws (motor side of shock tower) and 2 bolts with nuts front of tower. I work at a sign company so I have access to .040, .050 and .063 alm stock. The top bit was built from .040.
Picture 2 and 3 show this some what. I just put a few bolts/screws in to hold things together for picture(s) so don't think things are bolted up 100%!!! :-)

When I did the Losi XXXTSC I bent the left and right sides down at about a 45 degree angle to add some strength at those areas.
You can see this in picture 3, it's the white part.

I hope all the talk about a Losi XXXTSC in other posts by me hasn't been taken as a "thread hijack"! :-)

With the other "SC Extentions", so a Duratrax SC was built a few months agof :-)
Has 1/10 scale truck wheels instead of SC wheels BUT SC10 wheels bolt right up!!!
Duratrax ST is a IMPROVED Losi XXT, so many of the NEW Losi parts are GOOD upgrades.
