Cuz each car is different. Some have more clearance than others. If u asked me how the new corvette is and I said well...im sure its great cuz i own a Lambo Gallardo, would that make any sense?...feel me?

I have about 3mm of spacing in the front and back of the battery compartment to center my battery, using a CheckPoint 5000 pack. You can check the dimension specs online for the pack I run and the pack you want to run to see if they will fit.

Yes and each lipo is different so a bit of a dumb question in the first place.

But to help you out .... Intellect saddle pack lipos will easily fit in the TRF201

Yes but we dont know the size of the Pro Teks do we

If you want to criticise the guy for mentioning that saddle lipos fit in a B4 then you must understand that your lack of information about the size of your lipos puts you in the same place.

To be honest, the TRF201 has a very generous battery tray area so I would think virtually all lipos will fit

Very true about the sizes lol..however I think at the moment they onlu make one size...and the size of the intellects is irrelevant. At the risk of this becoming a stupid argument lets help eachother lol

Im glad to hear theyll fit. are u adding any weight to the front end? most 2wds I know do...has any1 experimented with this?

I have not added any weight but I believe some of the other guys have.

BTW .... how did you expect other people to know the size of your lipo? If it is ROAR legal then it will fit .. it is that simple

It is roar legal but some are 25mm other 30 and still other are like 23.5 in height. Some intellects, the ones that are 6000mah, are very tall as compared to some others. My concern is the battery starp and if it will allow for clearance. Being that protek is an amainhobbies company, the dimensions are right on their site.

How does the car handle with no weight? is the front end planted enough?

I dont blame him..its a great car...I owned the 501x with no regrets but the belts gave me a few problems that I dont have with my durango shaft drive and gear diffs. There was too much fiddling with the ball diffs and access to the diffs and spur were a real pain. Durango makers maintenance very easy. If the tamiya was as easy to work on as my DEX I wouldve stuck with it.

I just got all the new TRF parts so I'm going to give my car a rebuild this week. Going to switch over to the RW gear to see how it holds up and will let you guys know on that as well. It should technically be stronger if the material is as good as the grey Kyosho gear because it has 1 extra tooth and will have a better mesh.
