Yes, the FF03 and the 201 use the same gear set..... so, in theory the gear diff from Spec R should drop right in

I like the look of that body. It's not nearly as horrible looking as some of the cab forward bodies I have seen.

Is that the new LW body that is being released with the new kits?

Can't really say its cab forward, cab looks about the same place on reg b4 body. It appears tamiya is going with a follow the leader type off approach recently.. even if they do copy geometry, one thing they do well is make good looking bodies, and create different ways to do things, can't say they have here

I like that its pushed forward a bit from the stock body, but not too far forward like the PL Bulldog. This body is actually very similar to the Kyosho RB5 SP2 body. I actually compared my body to an RB5 SP2 and found the Sp2 to be slightly cab forward (which is probably about the same as an AE B4.1 body) I'm not real keen on the cab forward look, but I thought the 201 could use a little more forward windshield design.

Thumbs up Team Azarashi Canyk for TRF201

Speaking of new bodies...

Slightly cab forward but more importantly, much less cab surface area especially towards the rear of the body. The standard Tamiya body might be to blame for some racers claim of understeer. The new Tamiya body (Lee's black body above) should help reduce it too.

Mine rotates really nice now (had to dial out some steering).

After a Tuesday race night, I have to get my butt home and get some sleep! There's no time to clean tires! :P

Are you racing much off-road, Ray? Low summer turnouts at Trackside is getting old... ... looking forward to indoor season.

Not much racing for me. My wife and I had a baby 8 weeks ago today. Add the baby on top of me opening my business in a different location......been super busy.

Word is the turnout has been real low at Leisure Hours for 2wd buggy. The SC classes seem to get the most attention....so SC and on-road are the larger turnouts.
