Amain sells a really nice set of pistons drills that goes from 1.0 to 2.0 in .05 increments. The pin vise is a bit janky, but for $15 it's worth it just for the bits. Made by GMK Supply if I remember right.

I was worried about the ball studs popping off the buggy, but instead it was a lower shock eyelet on the rear shock that popped. The metal pivot ball stayed screwed into the arm, but the eyelet popped off. I was able to pop it back on with very little effort. The eyelet was not cracked or damaged as far as I could see.
Since it was so easy to pop it back on I was thinking of using Losi 22 lower shock eyelets and pivot balls. I used them on my b4.1 with no issues. Best around IMO.

if anyone is curious i found that if you put 0.060 lexan sheet under the battery it really made the car stable with great traction and steering. with this a shorty pack in the middle of the chassis is much better than with it mounted far forward. gave the car a nice roll characteristic while maintaining a balance and stability.

Can you post your 2wd setup you use at Kurts and CRCRC? I'm thinking about trying my hand at 1/10 buggy and need somewhere to start.

Hey guys, running indoor carpet and I need more steering, on and off power. Tires aren't the issue. Currently running rear motor, could go to mid, but have plenty of steering with my RB5 rear motor. Is there anything easyish I can try to get some more steering? Sorry I'm a n00b to car setup.

Track looks a little wet. How are those Proline tires? Car looks good though. Is that the same body you had at Motorama when I met you?

nope not a joke. its what i did. and it worked very well. is it a joke to run a shorty pack slammed up against the servo?
