thanks for the advise to look at the online manual. Tranny now fits perfect. One of issue Im having seems to be odd. I assume the diff goes in the tranny with the diff screw on the right side. I thought I had the diff somewhat tight atleast till I start breaking it in. But the left driveshaft seems to be hiting the diff nut and will not allow the rear arm to have any suspension travel. at first I thought the droop screw was just tighend to much, put I loosed it all the way and its the exact same. Any ideas? More than likely I have something assembled wrong but I have looked over it and cant seem to find any problems.

Hi. I've got a couple questions. I have a 210 and a DESC410 V2 and I'm thinking of buying a dex410 v3. Are there new cars coming that should hinder my 4w purchase? Also, with the 210, does anyone still run the original chassis as opposed to the +8 and whats the difference between the 2 handling wise? Thnx.

Oh i should also mention that i have the rear arms swapped and shocks mounted behind the tower. Also a bulldog cab foward body makes a huge difference with the shortwheelbase car. IMO

I agree. I run stock chassis with short wheelbase. I am not fan of the extended chassis.

i have 2 buggies with 13.5s. one is geared with a 69/30 and the other with a 78or81/33. they both seem about the same speed. you'll need to go to a smaller spur first since you can't put a big enough pinion on with the 87.

as far as the longer chassi, i have both the original and a rtr car. the longer chassi makes the car easier/more stable/forgiving/ but i think the shorter car can turn faster laps on smaller/tighter indoor tracks.
i like the shorter car right now and my son thinks the rtr is better.
we are running both cars in the 13.5 super stock class right now.
the shorter car turns faster laps but the rtr +8mm turns more consistant laps.
when i ran the rtr i just grabbed it and could run 5 minutes without a crash, but i've yet to finish a 5 minute race without some sort of problem with the short car. meaning even if i don't get marshalled, i find myself either spinning out or getting so loose i have to bail out of jumps or lines and regroup meaning slower laps.

anyone have any suggestions for eliminating understeer? The car turns in awesome but on power it pushes wide on sweepers.

I had the same issue i lightened up the rear spring and shock oil. I also experimented with front tires bar codes or scrubs work well on a hard packed grooved outdoor track

Try taking out some front droop. Could also go longer wheelbase or lower front ride height compared to rear. You're trying to reduce rear weight transfer on power.

Good point, I have my front set up pretty tall (ride height) and a little stiff (4 hole piston, 27.5wt oil and Losi red springs) running full droop and barcodes for front tires.
