If anyone's interested, Tower has the new type B chassis in stock.
4mm lowered rear tower.
b4.2 front end/shocks.
Bump steer issues figured out..but I needed 6mm of shim under the outer links. Knuckle breakage is a concern.
Testing this week.

Any of you guys try running captured ball ends and if so what was the result?

Loose back end
I am new to buggy racing. I am running mid motor, 4 gear, gear diff on a cork floor track. My car is spinning out, off power, in the sweeper but feels good everywhere else on the track i.e. the in-field... As soon as I let go of the throttle entering the sweeper the tail end kicks out to the left. On power the car steers very good.... I have never used a slipper clutch (I ran 1/12th scale and touring before)... is my slipper too tight? I run zero drag brake...
Been running 17.5 but decided to drop an 8.5 in and test it out this morning...
Well now I need a chassis, got a bit over confident with some quads and broke the back end. I saw RDP is back in stock at amain, just wanting to know if there is anything else needed besides the side pods.
I also see tower has the B chassis instock but our track is abrasive when dry so kinda leaning towards RDP.
Also what is the advantage of the lowered shock tower?

Lowered shock tower will give you more droop (if needed) or let you run other manufacturers shocks if they are a little shorter overall.

More Pictures of our Team Durango Buggies.
Using them on the rear inner only because I have AE ball studs/cups on the whole car but they seen to strip out the that part because they weren't long enough to put a nut.
I think mine are OFNA, just because I had them laying around, look for shorter ones that are not so beefeee.

forgot to ask about the body and the fitment. Any issues?
