I hear ya, I use the stock ones and they work just fine for me...plug them, or drill my own from the blanks..

I myself use toothpicks, dip them in CA, push them in snug, cut flush and a drop on the top to seal them up. It takes a little time, but works good. Some use the solder gun, and melt them shut, but I tried that, and it's not as pretty, and makes it even harder (I'm getting old) to see those little darn numbers.

Has anyone used the TSR ceramic diff kits? If so what did you think of them? Thanks

Cant speak for others, but IMO ceramic diff balls aren't the best. Ceramic thrust bearings are good, but the diff needs to grip the washer to work correctly, and the ceramics are too smooth from what I learned.

So did anybody else have the problem of a crazy on power push with the kit setup? My desc210 was pretty decent out of the box. This one not so much.

I found that the box setup is ok at best. I have been using Jorn's setup from the reedy race with some minor tweeks and it is the best my dex has ever felt. It drives absolutely amazing.

Try this setup if you run on dirt/clay w/ medium traction, and go from there.

My DEX210 just arrived today, looking forward to a couple of nights wrenching ahead.

Planning on running a 10.5 LRP in it, as our track is about 30 seconds a lap, low grip, very dusty/small rocks, find the boys with 7.5 cant get the power down before having to wipe it off again before the corner..

I believe a RM3 setup would be the ticket

previously a B4.1 owner...
