I think this is what most people were expecting from Durango on the new V3.

so, for the plan b chassis, is this worth using for dirt?
seriously considering it in say the mid motor configuration with shorty lipos on dirt conditions.

I did realize one thing with mounting the Rear shocks on this buggy it works much better, with them mounted behind the wing than up Front of the wing with low or Meduim traction helps with more traction and powering out of the corners straighter. So that tells me that the buggy lacks some Rear weight maybe ?

the thing I am wondering is with the chassis layout, is there a benefit to mid motor on dirt, similar to how the Xfactory Mid motor worked well on dirt. Then, I could just leave the vehicle in a mid motor layout and work from there.
Maybe its me being a bit lazy

All we run is clay in Florida everyone runs mid motor cars here. It cares corner speed in to the turn so you don't have to exhilarate out as hard.

I think with that Chasis and a shorty sideways and fully back in mid motor would perform as well as any rear motor. The great thing is you could always go rear if you need to. It would be an upgrade from any of the Durango chassis.
For loose dirt, which is all but extinct outside of 1/8 scale anymore, I still prefer rear motor over mid.

A guy who I lent a second vehicle to in mid motor config if i recall liked how it felt on the dirt here that they do water.
All that said, I have a variety of parts here I can use, tons of them actually with tons NIB various tresrey hopups, etc.
I am thinking maybe I make a stock class superlite vehicle, etc. and give it a try lol.
I know it was discussed in the past, but what is the current opinion of what from the dex210v1 should be kept when going with dex210v2/v3 specs?
Got a variety of graphite towers here, exotek gear, etc.
My current setup is a V1 car with V2 front arms, V2 rear shocks on the front of the car with a DESC210 front tower. At one point I had changed to an entire V2 but moved most back. I do have aftermarket parts such as a carbon fiber rear tower and Exotek steering on the car as well as the later gearbox but it's essentially just a V1 with a different front suspension.
