okay.

I do have some aftermarket graphite towers I am using right now at least for the rear, the front I beleive is one that doesn't have a camber stud perch like exotek, should I use that one?

I just installed an STRC carbon rear tower which uses the V1 geometry. I also just installed an Exotek front tower but I really only have it for the camber mounts. I'm about to make a new front tower to use with them.

yeah I'll have to dig the tower out and see. I got a large lot of parts here from the original owner but some stuff I doubt I'll ever use lol so will probably package them up and sell.

Right now I want to really find out waht these extra springs I have are as they don't appear to be durangos and have coloring rolled over more on the front of the spring and thicker / brighter than durango. don't know what brand that is.

That's the right idea in the description but I wonder why it still has V1 arms on it? I also plan to move the holes outwards a little. They are too far inwards for me, leaning the shocks in. I want them exactly perpendicular to the arms when fully compressed and that's not possible right now.

I could always go full retard (Tropic Thunder reference) and just use the DESC front tower, some long shocks and pretend it's 1989 all over again!

Yep jrx pro style. I wondered about the picture too using the gull wing arms. Be nice if he had something that mounted to the tower making the ball studs vertical too

I have a JRX-Pro (and 2, and SE, etc). As goofy as the Pro front end looks today, it was always my favorite front end iteration on that series.

Yep I had a 2. That was my "rc10" when I was a kid. Then I bought a new pro se with the special box painted cover when it came out. I always liked the 2 better than the pro se but I didn't really know anything back then. Looking back at it now I'm sure the pro se was a better car. Do you still race the old cars today?

I drive my 5 link JRX2 more than I do my 210. I'm pretty sure it's faster in stock class!

That's awesome. I bought a re release worlds last year just thinking I would run it ocassionaly but after I ran it the first time I was amazed at how well it handled. I have yet to take it to the track but I am going to sometime. I think it will be competitive but just wasn't sure. You would think if they would be competive more people would be running them.

Since I'm big into learning and messing around with things, I might just go ahead and try the DESC front tower and long shocks. The higher center of gravity certainly isn't optimal but the added up travel should teach me something. I'll think about it.

I do split black and white bodies as I am a fan of the movie The Crow so love its theme, and if you screw up its easy to take a black sharpie and cover bleed throughs.
