fyi- we are not accepting Amex if that was your payment choice.

Good news- 12mm hexes!
http://www.redrc.net/2015/01/exotek-...m-wing-mounts/
any plans for 12mm hexes for the DESC210?

for those using the exotek graphite v2 chassis, what you are thoughts on it for loose conditions?

Also, is there a place that sells a chassis protector that fits it, no trimming?

Im thinking they will be making them for the 2wd SC soon. I just ordered the pair of the 12mm hexs so the Proline B4.1 rear hex so il sell them at the track . Now i can ask to try out other peoples tires

Knowing Graphite is stiff i don't think it would work good on loose conditions .

The Exotek chassis is only 2.5mm thick. It flexes more than the stock aluminum chassis.

yeah, that is what I am wondering. right now I use the dime +8 chassis, but looking at something for either double duty or to swap over for winter for carpet. Since it is a stock class, figure weight savings too.

Speaking of which, what do you guys who run stock blinky competitively feel are must have upgrades?

And any suggestions on a carpet setup to look at feel free to shoot over.

Ok guys, I just broke a rear arm without really trying. How long do you guys boil the arms for? I probably should do it for all of my cars I'm guessing?

HAHA I landed wheel side down, I think it happened when I went off out big triple. A total fluke I'm sure but I just wanted to see if thats what I needed to do to keep that from happening. It was my second time out with the car. The thing ran amazing though, right there with what I was doing time wise with my 22 2.0 and its not even set up yet.

Mike would these 12mm hexes work on the front of our cars if we used the DESC210R axles?

Wicked, just when I thought I was done buying extras for my car. I just love the new wing mount.

Mine is completed now except for the paint. It came in a bit porky at 1750 grams with battery R.T.R.

I got wondering about my weight and changed wheels and tires. That brought me down to 1730. A shorty pack would save another 100 or so depending on the brand so that puts me about 1600-1620 which is more in line with what others are seeing. I don't compete and will just be running around on a local track with friends so I am not going to change anything though. It just got me wondering what it would take to get down there.

Which battery is that? All the Great Hobbies packs I've ran have been great. As for weight, I've got no idea what mine is. I run a pretty standard set up with a shorty pack. I've got the lightweight stuff in the gear diff and now the exotek top shaft to go in, but nothing special. I wouldn't get to worked up about total weight
