I am running MM3 with a Tekin Redline Gen2 motor and RS Gen 2 ESC. I was able to reverse the rotation of my motor using the Tekin Hotwire app. I'm not sure how many other sensored systems will support this, but Tekin does.

If you can't reverse your motor, then fredswain is correct...you flip the assembly of the gearbox and the end of the motor can sits on the opposite side.

right, that makes more sense fred. I had forgotten about the gearbox orientation as well as the 3 vs 4 gear switch. Thanks guys.

I don't think the Hobbywing supports this….

Correct me if im wrong, but is running MM3 with the motor reversed not just the same as running MM4 with a normal motor?

rcjunky1 is correct...the net forces still act in the same way. My Dex started life as a rm3 car. On the indoor track I run, I wanted to try mm3 and was basically too lazy to rebuild the gear box. I knew my Tekin setup would allow for reversing the motor through the Hotwire app. I'm still running that way after a month or two.

Does anyone know a good place for flat 3mm gold washer/spacers? The Durango ones are just too much @ like $1.25-$1.50 each. There has to be a bulk supply retailer with some. I've found red, blue, purple, but no where with something like the Durango gold color.

For all those complaining about Durango's wing height being too low for the dex210, if you don't mind using an AE part then this wing mount might suit you, its off a B44 buggy at a little over $2, I only have it screwed to the tower for now and also a screw through the lower section, will maybe brace it better at the bottom eventually but its super solid as is, it took some good tumbles on the weekend and the higher wing adds some protection to the tower, not that they ever break hey!

+1 for this question.

But also, where did you find the red? I use RED and gold usually. It would be nice to have some in bulk.

I've never gotten around to it due to a lack of time but I was going to try one of two things. One idea is to remodel a new set of taller wing mounts/braces in 3D and have them 3D printed. Someone on Oople did this and they looked good. The other method was to just custom make a new rear tower and to use B4 or B5 wing mounts. Then just shave down the stock mounts to keep the gearbox bracing.

If you can live with purple, hpi 3mm aluminum washers are about $5 for a pack of 10. That's the cheapest I've been able to find anywhere for aluminum washers.

3Racing has flat washers in 10packs for $3.67. TQRC has some, but stock is limited; 3Racing also has Pink, Purple, Blue, Light Blue, and Titanium colors.

I bought Ofna m3 locknuts in our Durango gold, but I am still goose-egg'ed on find washers in gold.

need some advice on gearing. I am planning to use either a 8.5 motor or 10.5 motor.

Anything you guys recommend for starting point?

will be using Avid slipper setup, have a wide range of spurs.
