Sup? I just finished my new body, I really like it.
The truck has a Mamba Max Pro 6900KV on 2s or 5700KV on 3s
AKA Slash rear 17mm hubs, AKA Wheels, Switch 2.0's (clay), D8 big bore shocks, and the new front bumper ect...ect...
It looks to nice to thrash! :tire:

I'm aware of the hyper thread, I didn't want this lost in over 115 pages!

Update: I'm now back to the stock shocks running the speed passion 4.5 v10 on 2s and it rails out there! The hyper is a amazing truck! I love it!

Ya, I used to put a ton of stickers on my cars/trucks but they add alot of weight. The ecko sickers I used are from Decal-Orations.com check them out, they have everything. I hand cut the checkers on 3m masking tape (the blue tape) on parchment paper the painted them on. I spent about 6hrs labor on this, my backs killing me. LoL!

D8 shocks are the same front and rear, the question is, are those springs soft enough for it to handle. It looks great but I have an D8 and it is a heavy buggy. I doubt those springs are soft enough but there are softer springs from HB and other companies.

i have tried and run with 13 mmīs 1/8 hong nor shocks with great sucess. are more soft than stock ones and have more suspension travel.

the aka adapters maybe i will buy 2 sets of this ones too..

can you post a picture of the wheel showing the aka adpaters?
do they fit good without staying too loose or too tight?

Over all, truck looks great, but those wheels look way out of scale.

Well which ever way you jump with them d8 shocks you will always land well, unless its on the lid LOL.

The aka adaptors are the rears only, they come with some washers, I had to flat sand about .01 to get the pin by the washer.

The D8 stock springs are close, I still need to run it on the track but it feels about the same, 30wt rear 35wt front. D8 standoffs are required as well as sanding the ball end to get into the tiny areas the a-arms have. I used a buffing wheel, took about 20 seconds apiece. Hot bodies sells longer and shorter springs, I'm going to get the next length down.

The wheels don't look to big to me, don't hate just because in running 24's. Lol
The tires are about an 1/8 shorter in overall height compared to a bowtie sc or hoboa sc tire. I don't race but I do love lapping the 2 wheel drives about every 3 min during the stock sc class warmup. These tires are the best on my local track, I run them on my Rc8BE also.

The stock tires are a blast too, I'm just doing my own thing.
