Yeah, definitely wasnt trying to argue with Mr. sinclair. The way I posted was just the way I had originally figured it and had not realized that the extra step was not needed to come to the same answer even though the math says it's right either way you figure it.2 different methods- same solution- Thanks for the insight Paul.

Heres some pics of the temp body I will be running until the Azarashi body I ordered gets here.

I made this one out of .030" lexan.I glued the panels together with CA. After the paint dries I will re-inforce the seams with a thin bead of GOOP.I only need it to last 2 race days.

i got the x-factory battery strap on. i used some body posts for my rock crawler to mount it. and i put a tekin fx-r in it and rewired it.

looking real good guys!

Alright guys, tomorrow is d-day!! Debut day that is.I am excited because Ii will finally get some racing in with the MM2 buggy. Going to take her to washtenaw RC tomorrow. They usually get 150- 200 entries per race day, so I couldnt ask for any better test conditions for the buggy as far as competition is concerned.

Looks good:) If your car has the option of changing caster blocks you might put a lower degree set on like 20 or 25 to help with the mid to late corner push. Also that is one big indoor track LOL

Looks really good on the track man!! I also had some good results today.I missed TQ by 1 mistake as I was getting back to the line after the buzzer, but redeemed myself by taking 1st with the MM2 buggy, even with the FUGLY temp body I made. Then I did take TQ in 17.5 sct, but botched the main, but still held on for 2nd. So all in all I am going to have to call to day quite a success for PSI racing!! I should have the full main vid to post within a week since Handy racing videos all the A mains at washtenaw.

By the way, i cant wait to get back up to proving grounds with this buggy!!Are you going to go run the Northern Nationals race there Rammstein????

thanks. i was trying to tune that out or in, how ever you want to look at it. i will have to see if they make some or, i will adjust caster with shims under the front arm block. it has a lot of initial turn in but not on exit, carries a lot of speed through the corners though. it seem like it is on rails, well more so that before...i am not the best driver:sweat:

mopar1994 11-28-2009 09:55 AM

i took the buggy to the track yesterday and it ran awesome. and it does wheelies with a 27t motor! i ordered a 3mm thick piece of CF too

mopar1994 11-28-2009 07:39 PM

with that CF sheet i bought im gona make a new buggy with b44 parts so the motor will be in the front and batterys in the back. should i use an associated front end with losi rear end? or associated front and rear or losi front and rear end? im not sure which would be the best

rammstein88 11-29-2009 05:46 PM

i would say associated front and losi rear if i had to chose.
