We had a good day after a bad start yesterday.We got to the track and realized we had left one of our boxes at home so we had no tools,spare electronics,pinions,or other much needed gear!! We made the best out of a bad situation and were able to keep all 3 cars running all day.
I qualified 3rd in mod SCT running my MM2-SCT 17.5 set-up.Broke a camber link in the main running in 3rd.

I had a blast running 17.5 buggy with Al Horne's boys.I qualified 3rd and finished 3rd.Those little dudes made me drive my nuts off just to keep up with them!!

And Brandon ran mod truck . He qual. 7th finished 6th. Not bad running with some of the fastest guys in state.

Sounds like you did good. I had 1 more heat today then the mains. I was first in the c qualifier, but then one guy was super fast beating me by 10 secs, so I started 2nd in the C main. After 2 laps, I had a nice gap between me and the 2nd placed car, so I went into cruize control and went slow until the end winning by alot. Unfortunatly they had no bump ups or tropies for the c main, only for the top 3 in the a and b main :( but in the end, my buggy worked great and had no issues after changing the tranny case, so I'm good to go for next race.

Any updates on the losi converson?

Everything is going as planned. At this stage we are waiting for our new machinery.CNC center and a vacform machine.So our R+D is on hold until they arrive and are up and running. Then it should be only a matter of days and the academy Kits will be available, followed immediately by the losi kits(buggy 1st,truck 2nd,MM SCT 3rd).Then while we run some shelf stock for the losi and academy kits we will be working on the MM conversions for the Kyosho buggy and truck.

So that is where we are at right now.Not so patiently waitng for a call from a man about a machine!! LOL!

Whats a vacform machine? I don't know if its just my local track, but Kyosho's arn't popular (there is non) so I would think a lcg slash chassis would sell better, but I dodn't know how popular kyosho buggies are in other places in the world. I'm looking forward to pics or a production version of the losi buggy.

A vacform is a machine for making bodies. The K cars are quite popular here.

any crazy body idea's? one like the venom B4 body would be cool, but with bigger flares to cover a mid mounted motor

Nope, no crazy ideas.We actually are shooting for keeping the buggy bodies looking like buggy bodies as much as possible.
