haha esc repairs .. yeah the weather is good now.. i need to get a battery for the receiver and a fan for the esc.. then i will test it with 6s and see if it works lol boom lol im thinking if removing the 3 caps and put some lager caps on it, so the esc can have a longer and more burst of powerrr

Thanks Timritchieblue

But how to connect it on signals side, there is a cable in between esc and receiver (3 wires orange, red and brown) brown and red are power supply ( - & +) and i presume orange is signal, so orange wire should stay as it is and brown and red cut to be connected to bec ?

Default Servo for Savage flux hp converted to Baja 5B

Hi all,

My Savage is under the process of 4WD Baja 5B conversion, according to your knowledge which steering servo could be within the best quality/price ratio for this new 4WD Baja 5B ?

Thanks,

Did some preliminary screw tightness checks, checked pinion screw, and cleaned the dirt from the last time I ran my Vorza in December. Added the De Racing mudguards and ran my Vorza for the first time this year! Wow it's still a rocket up and down the street!

I will probably re-oil some parts and what not but what else do you guys do after a period of inactivity during winter? Today was a beautiful 10 degrees in Montreal!

Default Are the packs ok in a Vorza??

Just picked up my Vorza and ordered some packs online from Hobbyking.

I wanted to get the Gens Ace 4S 40C packs but they have been out of stock.
Instead I purchased some Turnighy NanoTech 5000mah 5S 65-130C packs. I know these are going to make the Vorza run pretty fast however my concern is regarding the weight of these packs. Allot of users claim that 6S is crazy fast and makes the Vorza out of balance due to the weight of so many cells on one side of teh car. Can I expect any issues with teh NanoTech 5S packs I purchased? The HK website claims that each pack weighs in at 712G.

Thanks

Funny you say that because I ordered a 18T pinion with the Vorza so it’s all ready to go. Just waiting for the packs and charger in the mail.
I guess my concern around these specific packs is that they are a bit more heavier than their 35C and 45C counterparts.

Also wondering how my stock tyres are going to hold out on 5S?

It might be a lil heavy, but I wouldn't worry about it. I can tell a lil with 6s, but its not like it tips over in the air. TIRES stockers, won't last long. Stay off the street...yeah right. You'll get 4-5 runs out of em.
