the number is in relation to the holes in the pistons. 1.4 mm. smaller, more restrictive, slower. 70wt is thick for sure. will defs help stop slap. may ride rough though

soon, you will be pro, its quite easy.
the Mah, is the runtime. want more. 5000 mah is good for around 15 mins flat out
the S is the 'cell, (3.7v)' count, and sytands for 'series' this is the Volts you're running. more = more speed. 6s max for vorza.
C is the discharge speed. higher the better. vorza needs 25+.
get the best u can afford. i think Turnigy Nano-Techs are really impressive.
cheers

Could someone point me towards a good lipo battery faq/beginners website as well as charging ?... been looking into what batteries to go with for the Vorza if i should go with a High MAH and C ratings and if 2x2S is the same as 1 4S battery or what, its all starting to kinda blur together and need some clarification. looking to get around 2-4 batteries dependings on if i need a pair/single...

with the 6000Mah, just be careful of the size and to a lessser degree, weight.
I dont think 6000 6S will fit in the tray is all, plus would be really heavy.
i have a pair of 3s 5000 45-90c and they are Sick, and just fit in snugly. i also bought a pair of 2s 5000 25-50c, which i almost never use. 6S Baby! everthing else looks a tad lame after that. Get the highest 'C' Rating you can afford, as the price goes up alot more for higher 'C's but this is where youre out and out 'punch' comes from. the 5000 is runtime, and probably the most you can run with 6s (or 2x3s)
Ill recomend buying 2 3S 5000 45-90c, and 2x 2S 5000 45-90c. make sure you get them all with the same 'C' rating, and you can mix and match for 4S, 5S, and 6S. Get Nano's, theyre awesome. while you're there, also get 'EC5' connectors, they piss on the 'deans' change all the barreries and the ESC.
IMO, 5S would be ideal, still wicked fast, not quite so brutal on the car.

Yes, I would also recommend a 5S 5000mAh for a perfect fit and balance of the car.
I have a turnigy 5S 5000mAh, 45C I think, not only the fit is *perfect* in the battery tray but the car is also dead-on balanced. I've measured about 1-2% off towards the battery tray wich is nothing.
If you go 6S I'd recommend sticking with a 4000mAh or so...
You guys must be bashing is HARD to break those parts. Mine has crashed a few times but so far, zero part broken. This car is a tank

Also for what it's worth, with a 5S 5000mAh I'm getting pretty serious top speed with a 46 teeth spur gear with a 17 pinion gear. Ordered a 18 pinion gear but I don't think I'll be seeking more, it's already brutal.
At the end of my runs I get :
60°C on the motor
less than 50°C on the ESC
less than 45°C on the battery
Clearly the MMM is over-engineered and I just LOVE IT

thanks for the reply... so far im leaning towards the Nano Techs for sure... but stumped at 6000MAH 25-50C or 5000MAH 35-70C(or 45-90C) for both the 2S and 3S but unsure which to go with if more C or more MAH is better?..... was thinking about starting off with 4 2S's and a pair or 3S just to see what its like.....possibly just a pair of each...

I actually bought a 35-70C 6S, to see if would be a little gentler on the car. havent had a run with it yet.
damage wise ive lost count of bits, but that said all have been V-Max to dead stop impacts, or fatigue from numerous death flips over a period of time. done turnbuckles, arms, diff housings, cvs, shock towers, wing, steering posts/bearings, steering top brace, pinions, 3 motors, battery tray all the pivot pins/blocks, alot of screws all lights. most parts really. chassis is still good though, thanks to my Carbon Fibre/Stainless steel bashers plates. Lots of tyres, many ripped from rims

So in order to run a single pack on the Vorza, id assume there is some slight wiring to solder? and after reading yalls comments on the batteries i think im gonna go with a 2 Nano Tech 5000mah 45-70C 6S single packs (go big or go home it seems right?). just seems easier than managing 4 seperate batteries. If its that easy to run 1 pack insted of 2.
On a side note does anyone use Venom Chargers? they have a newer Pro charger on towers on easy pay that ive been looking into.

I'm going to get the iCharger 206b and 350 meanwell PS... Read a bunch of great reviews for that charger. Should be the last charger I buy...
