I just know...
I was there all weekend long, raced in it, surveyed everyones gear. No t5's anywhere... the only in development stuff that was there were the Pro Line suburb fronts that aren't quite done yet.
But just to throw everyone for a loop, losi had a new 4 wheel there.
NOT!

Go there and click on the picture and itll bring up all the albums. If a T5 was there, it would be in those pictures. If you look close enough though... youll see the new towers and shock caps on Franks/Pudges cars. And if you look really close youll see some stud in photo 11 and Ben's good lookin girls stopped by too pic 27 on main<- far more important than any t5

All cars that were run were wide open for everyone to see. No secrets anywhere. I am sure though that the AE engineers are cooking some stuff up. Just nothing was in testing short of little parts and tires here and there.

I highly doubt they would let Joe Blow photograph their prototype truck.
If the are prototyping a T5, they're most likely prototyping bits and pieces at a time at this point. Their team drivers obviously know the T4 really well, so if they put new towers, or a new steering assembly on a T4, they team drivers could very easily and very accurately tell the r and d guys what the difference was like. Again, just my take from the information I have.

More conspiracy!!
FWIW, Xtreme RC was also at the race for the mains and got a bunch of pictures and from what I heard will be doing a spread on the Surf City Race.
