I know I (and any other 1/10th scale offroad racers in my area) care about people getting bored with their vehicles. Some go to a different manufacturer (which is fine), but I have seen some of our tracks turn into "Slash havens" because people started racing them (from being 'bored') and now they are the only class to run. I am not a fan of taking a huge step backwards. I think the introduction of a new vehicle from AE would bring some of these people back into the real 1/10th RC Racing classes.

I agree, but what I am saying is, a truck like a T5 coming out could help bring people back into the "Real" class (2wd 1/10th buggy/truck) and away from Slash. I have seen some people go to Kyosho and other brands to run their equipment because they were bored with their B/T4's (which I would personally much rather see than someone going to the Slash class) but I think that something like the T5 could really direct a lot of energy back into the 1/10th 2wd buggy/truck classes...One would hope anyway.

Anything AE/Kyosho/Losi/HPI/Tamiya new is always interesting.
I'm curious to see what sort of update the shock towers, the shocks, and the chassis mod will be...
I'm hoping the shocks are finally going to be like Kyosho or Tamiya style shocks. Those are the probably THE standard for great shocks...
The Losi shocks are also really good too. The fact to have the seals as a cap bottom loaded is just good design.
Not to take away from AE's shocks. They're great, but the bread-clip style is a bit fussy when rebuilding...
