What to get 11 year old son???

My son wants to get a rc truck. Want to stay with electric. Would like to buy something that he can get some good use out of. Went to local hobby shop and looked at some used. Had Traxxas Stampede and about 4 other 2wd trucks. I think they were Losi but that is all I can tell you. What do you recomend??

Hah - just kidding. Try the Traxxas Slash. Generally, a commodity truck that most will enjoy. Price is right and it's good to know it'll take the abuse. If he realy enjoys it, race tracks have a Slash class just about everywhere. Once he learns to take care of it, you can look at other vehicles. But Slash/Strike type trucks are out there for a reason; durable, lower-cost and fun.

I would get him a stampede VXL... or one of the new watterproof xl5 ones
