I also agree that you should get castle. Why don't you want it? IMO they are the most reliable system out there now. I don't know much about LRP and your second choice is Tekin. I still read that their esc's are failing but the motor's run great.

Picked up a set of the new aluminum rear hubs. My question is the mounting of the camber links in the hubs. It comes with the 2 cone washers with each hub but no instructions. Do the washers go inside the hub on either side of the link or on the outside and the link floats on the screw.

depends on what cell battery and pinion, right now I run 4s with 14/45 with a 5000mah battery. I can get around 12-15 minutes.

your welcome! If your looking into motor's and esc's, depending on if you bash or race. I would either go with castle or tekin for motor's and castle only for esc's. Then a lower KV motor paired with a higher cell battery for longer run times and lower temps.

Tekin all the way around actually. RX8 is too smooth. Tekin is the best!
I run the 1900 combo on 4s

I have a 2200 with 46/17, SMC 5200 and at one track I run on Fridays I finished a 15 min main with juce left to spair. It is a very techinical track. The other track I run on Sundays is allot more open with more straights and higher speeds I hit cutoff at 14.40 min in the 15 min. That was frustrating but I wasnt the only one that happend to.

RC8Be,Tekin 2050 with the R8 geared 48/19 Protek 5400 4s ran 25 minutes in practice on a huge track(Dirtburners) here in St.Louis. Run 15 minute mains easily.
