sounds like you need the shim kit from associated. Give them a call so they can send it out to you.

I just put a reedy brushless in my sc10. I am using a 75 gear but not sure what pinion I should start with. Can someone help?

Thanks

The stock 3300kv reedy brushless system.

I am also looking for a good setup for a low traction, bumpy track.

You might want a bigger spur gear 81 or 84. With the 75T it will be hard to fit a small enough pinion gear to keep it running cool.

basically about a 13.5 . I would use AE's chart and go from there. I think they use a 84T spur by default.

Well I just ordered my FT SC10 with the rpm bumper, sway bars, and frnt and rear spring kits. I should be good with that for now I hope. Gonna drop a Tekin RS,10.5 in it. Can't wait:D:nod:

if you find the RPM bumper is too heavy up front for racing, give the FN Cuda brace a look. Very happy with mine.

18/87 is the factory gearing for the SC10RS with the 3300kv Reedy motor.

They like to run hot also.

i just cut my rpm bumper off and use it as a brace and put the stock bumper back on,a brace is all you need

With the hex wheel setup, have you guys played around with the offset on the wheels to adjust the track width? It seems like this would be a great tuning option.

Has anyone tried emulsion shock setup with these? I use it on my 22 buggy and my SCTE and it's a huge difference. Just curious if anyone is using it with the SC10.

Asharus 01-05-2012 11:39 AM

these kits come emulsion style from the factory
