So my sc10 feels great on the smooth medium high bite clay track that just opend, super soft rebars in front, wishbones in back(soft) just the only problem is at the very end of the straight I loose a little side bite and its hard to correct, which is how I loose time. I am running the 2010 maifield nats setup. 17.5 motor.
i won 17.5 class on sunday but I feel I could go faster.:D All other parts of track its really great. I am guessing barcodes work best, another fast sc10 using the stock ft setup is running those and I cannot seem to beat him, he takes every turn much harder just because of the bite the barcodes gave. But if somebody has a tip please let me know:nod::nod: |

Point taken. How will adding washers to the front camber link affect handling? ie raising the roll center at the shock tower...

You should see a small half round groove with a small screw hole beneath it on each side (front side of the tower). Bar lays in the groove and is held in with a small button head screw and washer.

what are some of the must have durability upgrades for the SC10?
I remember back in the day with the T4 you would buy that alloy hingepin brace for up front as the plastic one would snap and you would toast the bulkhead. Funny how that part was included (abeit not in shiny blue!) on the T3  |

+1 on the beams. Best tires I have tried. And god only knows I have tried some tires.
AKA Gridirons used to be the tire to use at a track I go to. We changed the tack added 8.22 tons of clay/dirt mix and gridirons suck now. HB Beams have so much traction. Also look into Double Dees and Bar codes. they seem to hook well. |
Which type of pinion can I use on my SC10 ??
Hi
I have bought a used AE SC10 with 2wd, but there was no pinion to the motor with it, which type of pinions can I use, I live in Europe and we have different kinds of pinions there. Is it modul 0.8 and Pitch 48 that I can use? Best regards Racerkorer |

Need some advice guys, I just bought a Castle 5700kv combo for my RS. Now I am questioning if this is just too much. I mean I can gear it down and de tune it a bit to run indoor carpet for the winter, and then crank it up for outdoor right? I have a Castle link so I can mess around with it. Also debating a SC10 4x4 for outdoor next season, I am guessing this would be really good for that?

Well I picked up a used SC10 pretty cheap. Appears to be one of the RTRs before the SC10RS series.
based on that, any suggestions now on durability upgrades? Anyone got opinions on the RPM A-arms? I am thinking maybe too soft for racing but not sure. Also, anyone got a recommendation on a carpet setup? tried using the search but I get a weird error every time. |

Thanks. I should clarify. This is more of less for "fun" racing.
My hope is to transition this vehicle over to my daughter eventually for some outdoor running so I would want some durability. Reason I am curious about the a-arms is I remember how much they broke on the T4, but, on the SC10, I woudl think they are much better protected. Lastly, for the chassis brace, does FN Cuda still make them or does someone have a similar one? |
