Almost any standard stick type pack will fit. The battery hold down is adjustable so if you get a large mah pack that is taller than average you can adjust for the height.

the slippers tight and i've even tried 23/75. this isn't my first build and i'm not new to this. This is just so strange. I know there are lots of variables and you can't solve it from over the computer. I just thought some input may lead me in the right direction

I was meaning with an 87 spur, not 75, which might be the issue. The pinion is near right but the spur is too small.

If you still have your 87 spur try 20 / 87

Tell me what i'm missing, it just doesn't go anywhere.

Castle 4600, Mamba Max, SMC 2s 40c 5200mah, 18/87

it should not be that slow!
I am running a similar setup and it is fast enough...check your ESC setting with the link to see if something changed. I am running on an 1/8th track with 17/87 and smaller LiPos and keep up with 10 and 13.5s

4600 is slow !

The problem is if you goto a 5700 you have to leave the punch controll @ 0, and you have to keep the motor timing on low. Altho everyone that told me a 5700kv would be to fast, i have to say you are wrong, 1/4 the way down the straight im to the floor all the way into the sweeper.

Im going to do a ball diff this weekend and it will be totally dialed.

You must have more control than I do...4600 is still a handful...We will see what happens when I ditch the stock tires for some bowties or goosebumps...

I downloaded 100's of custom tracks and cars during it's heyday. Used to be some great online play.

OK back on topic....

Lol wow you havent even changed the tires yet....

I changed to bowties and with the gear diff and correct camber and toe, you can controll it. the only hard part is when the wheels come off the ground and you smack into the timing pole

ive seen the 4600 pull the front wheels off the ground down the straight with the goosebump tires, but ive had nothing just good laptime with the m3 bowties so thats what i stick with.
