No problemo, I'm enjoy the Hyper 9e, fits my driving style very well, haven't tried anything else but I'm pulling fast enough lap times so I dont think I'll switch anytime soon.

I don't think it'd be cheap. You'd need a chassis and basically everything on the chassis of a Hyper 9 nitro. All you'd be left with is the original Hyper 9E front/rear assemblies.

Pretty sure it was replaced by the Hyper Star kit.

hi guys

i've been running my9e since a few months and having good fun with it. I went from a 4x4 slash to the 9e.
1:8 scale is worlds apart from 1:10

Firts thing I built for my hyper 9e are mudguards. I then modified the ESC position. I just cut out the original receiver box. The ESC is now flat on the chassis and everything seat low. i love it

Here's the body I'm talking about:

Been running the Hyper 9e for myself and my son and got to say I'm not impressed with it. Both have had breakages (mine a shock end, his a rear diff case) and the centre driveshaft feels like it's binding, I've replaced the cups and shafts and the centre diff certainly has to strain harder to push the front diff than the rear. Not an issue on mine as I have the centre universal (although the grub screw holding it to the diff pinion keeps backing out)

Also the front CVD's bend if you sneeze near them, and the rears aren't even interchangable!

Tempted to go back to the trusty Hyper 7 that at least could take a beating!
