Idk...the only one I have ever seen is the original due to its monstrous size. But if u jeeded something different I am sure the newer 1/8 sc truck models from other manufactures will fit. I happen to really like the original sc8e body and its realism detail.

Does anyone know when ordering a SS screw kit as a example...RC SCREWS SS Kit, does this cover the entire rig?

Well I got one in a trade and it has an sc10 body made to fit. Was just wondering if anyone knew what else might fit. Not a good painter and don't want to she'll out 80$ or more if there is something else that might be out there cheaper

1/10 body on a true 1/8 must look awfully weird.

Not as bad as u would think. This truck is mainly for my 2.5 yr old to learn how to drive so it really doesn't make that big of a deal to run what's on it for now as he runs into everything anyways. Lol. Just trying to find out if anyone knows of another 1:8 body that would fit.

Thanks...so the reason why I asked is because on just about ALL the screws on the entire rig throughout has some light surface rust on the heads...What to do?

Not that I was trying, but I was doing some rearranging this weekend and just so happens I had the lid off my sc8e and my slash body laying next to it and I went to clean up the area so I placed the slash body (SVT RAPTOR Body) on the sc8e just to move it elsewhere...and it did look odd. It reminded me of one of those tractor pull pick ups where the wheels set outside or slightly beyond where they normally are suppose to center of the wheel well...IMO Ewww!

I still think the SC8 stock body looks great!....But I think the HPI Apache SC body might fit the SC8, I KNOW the roll cage can fit perfect on both trucks, so the body should too....I does looks a lot like the SC8 body, just HPI style.

I don't see what is the point when u r spending the same amt for the original sc8e body vs the apachi sc body.

http://www.ebay.com/itm/HPI-RACING-A...item53f5ed71b7

Unless u were talking about the Desert Buggy style body. For that, all u do is panel/enclose off the cage and BOOM! Done!

Well, you can always get the Clear SC8 body for a cheaper price, that's what I do...

What surprises am i forgetting when upgrading my 14mm shocks to the new version 16mm big bores? Do i need anything else or do the big bores just replace the 14mm stockers?
I have a E converted SC8, not sure how to tell what version it is.

I'll be looking at some other upgrades down the road. Not sure how much of the new SC8.2e is a direct fit. Wouldn't mind upgrading to some of the newer stuff.
I was also thinking of rebuilding this on the Tekno V4 chassis... Worth it?
