Probably 2 months after there released as were slow to get our site updated.

We hope to have the E-Revo 9000mAh packs in by the first part of March.

SSG: I'm not sure how many amps an 8th scale pulls but I would say the peak amps are probably 175 amps or so but that is just for a fraction of a second then it will drop down in to the 20 - 30 amp range.

Not sure how speed control manufacturers figure out the max amp draw. When discharging a Lipo at 40C it only takes 88 seconds and I know the connectors and wire that we use could not take 210 amps continous so they must be talking about peak amps.

As far as higher C rates go it doesn't mean the pack will be faster in certain applications but it does mean it will have less voltage drop and lower IR. It should also have a higher cycle life.

Not sure I have not tested them. I do have GFX numbers of some of there packs but once again I will not post them as I don't feel it's the way to do business.

Once I do have C rate tests for the most popular packs out on the market I may post them to show what the racers get for there money. This will take me some time as I'm pretty busy with all the new packs were working on releasing.

I cycled a pack a few weeks ago at about 65* out and it was 7.30 402 and 7.6 this was at 35 amps on MY GFX. It was a about 5 run old 3800 35C pack.

Should give some numbers for reference.

Where were your voltage sensing leads attached ? Is this an inboard connector pack ? What was the charge rate ?

All of they above will have an effect on the cycle numbers.

For example when I test a Lipo the temp is 70 degrees.

I charge at 2C and I attache my voltage sensing leads on the 12 gauge wires where the female Deans is soldered to the wires.

I got a PM back from Rick Hohwart at Associated Electronics and he said the maximum is 47MM.

That is what I thought it would be as a typical 2S hardcase pack has 47mm width and AE is putting these packs on the side.

We will go with the pack dimensions I came up with.

I will give you guys and update as to when these packs will be ready. Should be 2nd week of March.

Charged at 6 amps, leads attached, inboard connectors. It was an IP 3800 pack 35C. I attached bannana plugs to my gfx leads so it was a direction connection to the pack.

Once I have our EFRA pack I will be able to do some good testing on the effects of inboard connectors and how it affects the numbers.

Thanks for making a single 14.8V battery specifically for our car. Reedy will be doing the same and we feel that this size (in single 14.8 or dual 7.4V) will become the future standard for the class.
