Losi IFMAR studs, red compound, if I remember right. This is tire that will be used in stock and super stock.

Quote from Matt H in the Nebraska thread, "for 1/10 truck last year my favorite tire was the Losi red Ifmar Stud in the rear with either red or silver directional ribs in the front. I ran Ifmar studs on my 4wd buggy as well so those tires should work on a buggy."

Sure would be nice if ROAR could lower the entry fee with the state of the economy these days $80 per class is pretty steep. Any thoughts on that Dawn? My bootie is puckering over that and I'm a local, can't imagine what I'd do if I had to travel.

Would be nice to get a discount for running multiple classes.

A few questions:

Will the pits be inside the building?

Will there be open practice on Wednesday?

Control Tires?

Will you be able to bring NIP control tires to the race to be teched like last year?

Thanks

Nancy, where are you guys staying? If you've decided.

Control Tires? Yes, Ifmar Stud for rears in all stock and super stock classes. Losi xtra wide fronts for 2wd front, Losi Directionals for truck fronts, and Studs for the front of 4 wheel. All red compounds.

Will you be able to bring NIP control tires to the race to be teched like last year? Yes.

Thanks

Please be patient. There's one last thing that has to be figured out with Roar and then I can post the flyer. We are also going to have a website dedicated to the race that will have all the information you'll need.

Thanks!

Yep. 7204's

For inner foams...I've been using whatever comes stock. With as smooth as the track will be with no nitros running and the groove it'll get, I suppose a stiffer foam work better.

Maybe one of our other guys can come on here and say what they've been doing.

I normally run the Bow-Ties with Pro-Line 2-stage inserts at our club and Summer Series races. I haven't tried them in the IFMAR studs yet. I wasn't sure if you could change the inserts on "spec" tires since Fro never answered when I asked.....thanks for the love, Bud! I would think something a little more like he said though. I'll be experimenting with the studs this spring and post as I know.
