****RC8E Limited Edition****
Way to go Team AE!!! Provided they don't jack the price of the kit way up I'd take one of these. The inclusion of the conversion kit and the e-body make it a very attractive option. It also already comes with the big bores on it.

Any particular reason why they show it with two 7.4 packs as opposed to one 4s?

Edit this is great news for electric fans. Now there is the Caster, Losi, and Team AE 1/8 scale factory options. This class is going to take off! I'm all for 7 minute qualifiers and 15-20 minutes mains!

so can I expect to see one at say the next - next RHR event SkarTisu???
I think an 8000 sized pack will be too heavy on the chassis. Right now with my RCPD RC8 conversion, the largest pack I would use weight wise would be 600-ish grams, and that is the PQ6000XP 4S. The Maxamps 6500HV could work well too.
I am looking forward to purchasing the new spur gears they have made in nylon, 46T, 48T, 50T, as well as that battery box up front. I am not sure though if it will fit the RCM conversion, but I think all the holes should be the same.
Maybe its me, but does the spur gear look nylon in the pics?
As for pricing the new RC8E, with what is included, I don't think the price should really be that much more than say the RC8FT is going for now. yes big bores can be considered a $150 item, but, you save costs on the original shocks being there, and of course the nitro specific items that are removed that may not cost as much as the electric conversion stuff.

Also they are giving away the big shocks with the existing new kits and they save the cost of the nitro parts. The price should be the same or close.
