I'm not worried about driving style, this buggy weighs more then newer ones right? I am just wondering how it would stack up if driving was =

If I remember right my O.G. RC10T did really well on blue grove tracks that weren't all torn up by 1/8 nitro. I was racing against T4's and XXX-T's when they first came out, where they were better was in the jumps, and I think that's where the newer buggies might have you is in the jumps and rough stuff. The newer chassis's that they have come out with (I.E. Losi's EA3)is designed to flex JUST A LITTLE to help on the rough tracks messed up by the 1/8th guys

The idea of a Losi XX-4 being "vintage" is crazy. The XX-4 is still widely used today and is very competitive.
We ran a Vintage class last year at our local race track. Your vehicle had to be made before 1990. Lots of rc10's, a couple Grasshoppers, a Frog and a Hornet. An old Losi something, and I run a Dyna Storm. Now Im sure one of you guys out there know that The Dyna Storm was too knew for the rules. Well they didn't, So I ran it! The point to all this is that we considedered anything built 1990 or earlier was Vintage.
