2009 Midwest Champs Race Info

Electric
Practice Jan 15 & 16 10am - 9pm
Qualifying Jan 17 Doors open 7:30am
Mains Jan 18 Doors Open 7:30am

Practice Jan 20 - 22 10am - 9pm
Qualifying Jan 23 and Jan 24 Doors open 7:30am
Mains Lower Mains ran Jan 24 until midnight

Don't worry about a cold pit area this year, we have rented a separate building for pit space. It is about a 20 foot walk to the building.

Electric Basic Rules

Outlaw truck

7.4V, LiPo battery
ANY BRUSHLESS MOTOR
ROAR Legal 1:10 2wd Truck
MUST MEET MINIMUM WEIGHT REQUIREMENTS
6 minute qualifiers
20 minute A main, B main 10 minutes, the remaining mains, 7 minutes ** No bump ups **


Mod Truck/Buggy

Brush or BL motor
6 Cell MiMH, 7.4V LiPo
ROAR Legal 1:10 2wd Truck/Buggy
MUST MEET MINIMUM WEIGHT REQUIREMENTS
6 minute qualifiers
7 min mains Triple A Mains

Stock Truck/Buggy

27 turn any stock, fixed timing endbell brushed motor,
Roar approved motor (brushed motors can add bearings), or any 13.5 turn ROAR approved brushless motor
6 Cell MiMH, 7.4V LiPo
ROAR Legal 1:10 2wd Truck/Buggy
MUST MEET MINIMUM WEIGHT REQUIREMENTS
6 minute qualifiers
7 min mains Triple A Mains


4wd Mod Buggy

Brush or BL motor
6 Cell MiMH, 7.4V LiPo
ROAR Legal 1:10 4wd Buggy
MUST MEET MINIMUM WEIGHT REQUIREMENTS

4wd 19T Buggy

19T Brush or 10.5 BL motor

Classes have not been finalized yet.

super stock is 10.5 currently and i don't think the "new roar year" starts till feb. hah

id much rather run 10.5 4wd class then being forced to run full on mod. then again i wouldn't even mind a 13.5 SS 4wd class.

This isn't a ROAR race.

When will the classes be finalized and when will the registration open? I'm down this year for sure.

Sooooo excited for this one! I plan to be "almost live" with coverage there again (could be "live" coverage if they get a stable WiFi system set up). I also plan to not suck there this year..haha

I didn't find the pits that cold last year, but I am Canadian...

I would pick you up, but we will have a full load already. Hopefully I can get a few more of us to go (already have the info on our local forums). Yeah we should all pit near each other. Will be good times. I may race every class this year just to beat the down time...lol.
