The steering throughout turns is much better over stock. I really have noticed the buggy carries well and remains very stable at speeds--this is what I noticed and know they are pricey but personally feel they are worth the investment.

OK i got it, yeah i guess the $100 investment in the long run will be worth it...so i must buy both the caster and spindle correct? should i grab some aluminum rear hubs as well? Thanks

Yes, you must buy both. I like the 10deg in buggy myself.

Aluminum rear hubs aren't necessary in this buggy.

im having house transponder issues, so im looking for advice.

I made a transponder mount that bolts to the top of my center diff, because I didn't want another hole in my body, and i cannot afford a personal transponder yet.

could my center diff cause interference that would cause my transponder not to register when I cross the loop? or are the tracks transponders just on their last leg?

Can someone tell me the difference between the stock hub carriers and the 10* inclined ones? Besides being aluminum...... I was under the impression the stocks ones were already 10* (20* total caster). Does the "inclined spindle" refer to the camber axis and not the caster?

Thx-

Jim

What material did you make the mount of? Metal or carbon can cause interference.

I believe the answer to this is neither! If I remember correctly, caster is toe in/out. Camber is well, camber. The inclined spindles lay back the hub carriers--so the axis of the pins that hold the assembly together runs perpendicular to the ground on the stockers is rotated back towards the rear of the buggy on the inclined. This is how I understand it and hope it makes sense . . .

Default spindle

I'm finding the aluminum 10* and 12* casters but there seems to be only one spindle...am i to assume this spindle will work with both KingPin casters?

Remember my post from a few days ago? This is where the confusion lies. If you look on TLRacing.com website you can vaguely confirm. I posted the P/N's as well . . .

There appears to be only one spindle.

Here are some pics that's been posted on RCTech before that show the difference in stock vs inclined spinldes and carriers.

Both stock and inclined come in 10deg and 12deg which affects caster. But the inclined spindels affect the active camber through a turn. Static camber at ride height is the same for either stock or inclined, but the active camber is different.

Great stuff! The image of the carriers are a little misleading because both are marked 12* but can clearly see the difference. I think these made the most difference than any other hop-up I put on the buggy.
