Other than that this setup should get you close.

You can also try the short ackerman plate if you still don't have enough steering. It will give you a ton of turn in and it works well on the tight indoor track. Anywhere else the long plate is what I run.

This setup also seems like it might work indoors, but I haven't tried it yet.

Let me know if you have any questions. It's about time you got into this class.

Yes sir, it comes in the kit. I would try the long one first and only use the short one if you feel you need more turn in. Also if you need less power transfer/more forward drive go up to 7k in the center diff. I'm sure you'll be able to master the setups quickly, it is a pretty straight forward car to set-up. Also the setup notes at the back of the manual actually do work with this car.

Thanks danger! I'm going to grab some of those Mugen boots and try that first, they look like they would actually work fairly well.

Now that the Tekno V3 is the same price as the Losi electric kit which is better?

I will not run the brake kit I would rather use the motor to brake so I can use that servo for other vehicles I have

I Personally prefer the Losi conversion, Its Simple and Works.

Yup, that kit doesn't even have all the bits to make it work.

The Losi kit just works.

No problem and check the post by Integra where he explains gluing the Mugen boot over the top of the Losi boot--this might work better for some.

I actually run quite a bit of toe on my buggy. 2 - 3* but I just eyeball it. Meaning I do not really measure it . . .

While going through my new 8ight 2.0e today I noticed that both front hubs have a decent amount of binding. I take one of the gold pins out and the hub turns freely but when I put the 2nd pin back in the hub binds up. Is this something that will loosen up after a few runs? Thanks.
