Very cool! Looks good man. Do not get upset if that motor fan does not last long.

I've got a brand new losi 8ight e 2.0 that is all stock setup except for I went to 42.5 in the front and 30 in the rear and black springs in the rear. This buggy is a$$ happy. What is the most common setup for this buggy or one that settles the rear end down?

Try running the rear camber links in the C hole. That should calm down the rear a little.

What kind of track are you running? I run 25 wt all around with Silver Springs in front and black in the rear. I'm also running the 2.5 swaybar in front and the 2.7 in the rear. Diff fluid will make a big difference as well. I'm running 5k-7k-3k (front, center, back) I'd look at the Drake Setup sheet and start there, then make adjustments based on your driving style and track setup. Small indoor will be a lot different than big outdoor. Also, clay will be a lot different than just regular ole dirt.

Outdoor open tracks with medium traction. Usually a dry racing line

I run essentially the same tracks. I tried black springs last year and found I had the same situation--a bouncy rear end. Great on women but not for buggy! I tried it again this year with the latest Drake setup. Not sure if it is the 30wt oil or the LRC hinge pin braces, which I understand is the same as stock plates, but I am not experiencing the same issue. Hard for me to make a guess but do run foam compensators which should not make too much difference. Are you running the stock rear chassis brace?

Yeah i'm running the stock rear brace. I had someone else tell me the black springs in the rear made the buggy alittle wild. I'm gonna try the green. He said that calmed it down nicely.

Yup. I noticed the same thing on last year's setup. Liked me some green springs with 25wt fluid.

At my local track depending the speed of the rhythm sections I go between green or silvers rears w/27.5 oil.
