I beat sensored guys all the time in my 8ight-e, then again a few have beat me, but when I was beat it wasn't due to being sensored or sensorless it was due to driving. They were either better drivers or just ran with a cooler head and didn't make dumb mistakes. I still wont run anything other than sensored in most of my light 1/10 stuff.. but after switching to the castle 1410 in my scte I'm turning faster laps and more consistent laps than I have with any other vehicle I've owned. Sensored doesn't mean much vs a quality sensorless setup iMO, but if you have a weak link and cog or have setup issues, it will make an impact. If you crash a lot sensored may save you a second over a full main as from a dead stop there is no delay at all, but as far as being in control on jumps or in turns etc.. thats skill and practice with either setup iMO.

everyone seems to love the 2.0E. I know people here trying to get the E when they drive other gas brand cars. How much more does the E weight with 4cells (4 cells seem common here) than the nitro version?

What is your setup, what lipo's do you have, how heavy?

I'm 8lbs on the track w/ my hyperion 5500 vx 4s packs.. but the lipo's are 1.33lb's of that weight.

What is your config to be that light? is it posted? Thanks..

I run the tekin 1700kv with mmp and 4500 30c turnigy packs i get about 20 min runtime on those packs

Mine weighs in at 7.9lbs.

2200 Castle motor, 4s 25-50C 4000 Nanotechs. I get about 15 minutes of racing on a pack.

I'm 2501grams (5.5lbs) with NO battery,body,wheels (roller w/electronics)
I'm 3629grams (8.0lbs) RTR w/ my 603gram 5500mAH hyperion 4s lipo

WOW! I thought the weight of mine was normal. when i got it i was impressed because it weighed so much less then my rc8be. I dont have a scale. i used one at a friends house. so i guess just take it for what it is.

Yup, battery choice and tires is where most of the differences are. I had some Kyosho wheels with M3 crimfighters that were 20g heavier per tire, than a set of VP-pro axxman. That's a huge difference.
