I am running the 45t spur, Castle 2200/ESC combo and Hyperion 14.8v 45c 5000mah lipo.
I have my pinion figured to be a 13 or 14. Can anyone confirm that before I set her on the track plz. I'm a noob to this electric stuff
I'd say get 12-13-14T pinions. I tried 14T but it was a bit hot after 15mins. ESC timing on low btw. I think 13T is the way to go and use 12T when 13T is still too fast for your longest straight. 12T will give you cooler components and a longer runtime.

Actually my lipo is fairly short compared to my RX8 and the gyro gel I have it on. I do not think this body will work for everyone because of the heighth issue. Probably only guys running small 6s setups will be able to pull it off. I suggest you try someone elses unless you don't care to waste the $25 for a body.

I wouldn't say that completely, but it certainly won't work for everyone. That's why I kinda like it!

That is the the date Horizon expects to get 8ight-E 2.0's back in stock. I have heard nothing about a new 8th scale.
